What to Expect at the Feast

Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry is a very young organization. This will be YRM’s second Feast of Tabernacles (although we have been observing the Feasts for 32 years), and our goal is to be true to the Word and honor Yahweh in all things.

The Feast of Tabernacles is a time to focus on Yahweh and enjoy the fellowship of brethren. In order to get the most spiritually out of this time, we will have at least one worship service a day. On the Sabbath and High Days there will be at least two services. We will hold children’s classes throughout the Feast as well.

We have allowed plenty of time for fellowship, relaxation, and enjoying a variety of activities. The young people should have an especially memorable time with all that the camp offers. Yahweh commands us to rejoice at His Feast and we plan to do that (Lev. 23:40).

You should bring casual clothing as well as better attire suitable for worship. Neckties would be in order for men on the Sabbath and High Days. Women need a headcovering for worship services, as Paul directs us in 1Corinthians 11. Women’s hats or scarves are ok.

Bible studies are times when we can learn a great deal about the Scriptures, and we will have some valuable studies at the Feast as well. There will be opportunity to discuss the Bible casually with others, too, in the many comfortable sitting rooms scattered throughout the lodge.

If you are musically inclined and can play an instrument like a keyboard or flute, please bring it. We always look forward to the special music that brethren bring before the congregation, either in song or instrument.

Baptism into Yahshua’s Name is a necessary step that we as True Worshipers must take. Being immersed at a Feast among many believers makes it that much more memorable. We will set aside time at the Feast to counsel those seeking baptism. A baptismal service will be scheduled for those who seek a new life in Messiah Yahshua.
